      The Roots of American Musical Life

      The 2013 joint meeting of the American Musical Instrument Society (AMIS) and the Historical Keyboard Society of North America (HKSoNA) will convene in Williamsburg, Virginia, for “The Roots of American Musical Life” conference from May 30 to June 2, 2013. The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is host for a program of concerts, recitals, papers, meals, and museums. The opening concert will be held at the historic Governor’s Palace with period instruments and costume.
